6th 7th 8th Grade *

6th grade* - Covers: Order of operations; Operations on negative numbers; Least common multiple/greatest common factor; Adding/subtracting/multiplying/ dividing fractions; Writing expressions (including ratios) with variables; Parts of expressions; Evaluating expressions; One step equations

7th grade* - Covers: Order of operations; Operations on negative rational numbers; Writing expressions with variables; Equivalent expressions, ratios and proportions; Distributive property with variables; Combining like terms; Two step equations

8th grade* - Covers: Writing expressions with variables; Two step and multi-step equations; What is a function; Recognizing functions from tables/graphs/equations; Determining function inputs and outputs; Domain and range of functions; Linear functions and intro to slope intercept form.

*Sample programs shown based on 8 weeks of tutoring. For less weeks, amount/depth of material covered may be reduced. Tutoring in other subjects such as Trigonometry, Algebra II, Statistics, Pre-Calculus and Calculus also available.

Covers: Two step & multi step equations; Solving absolute value equations; Solving single variable inequalities; Solving compound inequalities; What is a function; Recognizing functions from tables/mapping diagrams/graphs/equations; Determining function inputs and outputs; Domain and range of functions; Linear functions and slope intercept form.
